WOODY BIOMASS DEMONSTRATION HARVESTS

Demonstration harvests of woody biomass are needed to deseminate information on harvesting equipment and methods and to clarify what types of forest stands are suitable for biomass harvesting.  This section provides information on the harvest demonstration workshops being conducted by the BURN-UP project as well as those conducted elsewhere.  The information set on Harvesting and Transporting Woody Biomass provides further  resources on methods and equipment.  The Harvest Opportunities section provides further information on the types of situations that are suitable for bimass removal.
